Greystar Sustainability Report 2025

Doing Things the Right Way

Human Rights Greystar is committed to respecting human rights across our global operations and supply chains. Our approach is informed by internationally recognized frameworks, including the UN Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. With support from external experts and relevant stakeholders, we have initiated a human rights assessment to evaluate risks specific to the real estate sector and our countries of operation. Human rights considerations are also embedded into our broader risk assessment and due diligence processes, including ‘Know Your Client’ reviews, supply chain vetting, and ongoing compliance checks, helping identify and mitigate potential risks early in the investment and asset management lifecycle. To support transparency and safe reporting, Greystar maintains an anonymous, third-party reporting hotline, and whistleblowers are offered confidentiality and non-retaliation protections. We further reinforce our commitment to ethical labor practices through our Modern Slavery Statements in the UK and Australia, which outline efforts to prevent forced labor and human trafficking across our operations and supply chain. Looking ahead to 2026, we plan to enhance the consistency of our approach by developing a Human Rights Policy that unites existing commitments into a single framework.

Greystar’s governance approach is supported by a set of standards that articulate the expectations for team operations and decision making:

Greystar’s firmwide governance framework is designed to provide clear oversight, consistent management expectations, and aligned decision making across our global platform. While day-to-day governance may be tailored to regional regulations or fund structures, the firm maintains an overarching governance structure that guides how decisions are made, how risks are managed, and how our standards are upheld. At the enterprise level, key strategic and operating decisions flow through the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Global Investment Committee, which collectively provide oversight of the company’s long-term strategy, capital deployment, and operational performance. 37
