Investing Responsibly
Sustainability Policy Our Sustainability Policy provides the foundation for how sustainability is considered across our real estate business activities, informing processes from investment analysis to development, operations, and reporting. Our policy is reviewed periodically, and in 2026, we made updates to reflect the refinements made to our Sustainability Framework, ensuring that our internal expectations remain aligned with our current approach. Sustainability Governance Greystar’s sustainability governance approach helps insert sustainability considerations across our global operations. Oversight begins with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Global Investment Committee, with implementation supported by coordinated teams and cross-functional groups.
We incorporate sustainability considerations into our real estate investment processes across all investment strategies where they are relevant to long-term performance, risk management, and operational resilience. These factors are evaluated alongside a range of other financial and strategic considerations, helping us form a more complete view of each opportunity and asset.
During the investment lifecycle we apply a consistent approach to identifying material sustainability risks and opportunities, supporting efficient, resilient assets and transparent stewardship for our partners. 34
