Speak Up: In late 2024, we relaunched our Speak Up hotline, which provides an anonymous channel for employees to report concerns related to ethical, professional, and employment standards set out in Greystar’s policies. With the latest platform, team members can now report globally in all the countries in which we operate. We leverage a technology platform to ensure that reports stay anonymous and confidential and assign case managers to investigate any reports made. Data Privacy: Cybersecurity is an important priority at Greystar; one that requires sustained attention and frequent updates. Over the past year, we improved our centralized reporting of key performance metrics in order to track our progress across a number of areas. These cover focus areas including data subject requests, team training completion, reportable privacy events, and project updates on initiatives to continuously improve our cybersecurity program. AI Governance: Generative AI is increasingly present in our daily work including through chatbots used on websites with prospective and current residents. In 2024, Greystar updated our Global Privacy Policy to include a section on privacy considerations related to AI tools. The policy lets users know that any AI tools will not collect identifying information or contribute to decision making. As AI continues to become more prevalent, our Risk Management team is evaluating best practices on a regular basis to ensure we leverage these tools effectively while protecting the data of Greystar and its communities.

Global Supplier Compliance Management: In 2024, we began the process of rolling out Greystar’s first centralized supplier compliance platform. The new technology-enabled system enhances our ability to ensure consistency in the way that we evaluate suppliers for compliance with our professional standards. Through this platform, we have standardized important compliance checks to reduce risks of legal noncompliance and fraud, including sanctions screenings, bank account verifications, and insurance checks. Starting in Canada, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, we have introduced the new platform, trained local teams, and updated procurement processes and technology integrations. In 2025, we look forward to expanding the platform to our US business lines. Modern Slavery Statements (UK/EU and Australia): At Greystar, we commit to respecting the fundamental human rights of our employees, suppliers, and business partners. In 2024, we published updated Modern Slavery Statements in accordance with the UK and Australia Modern Slavery Acts to provide transparency into how Greystar takes steps to prevent modern slavery within our operations and supply chain. While most of our business has limited exposure to activities and regions considered at high risk for modern slavery concerns, we have reviewed our supply chain to identify where risk may be concentrated, such as for vendors in industries with lower wages and use of sub-contractors. Our suppliers are required to complete onboarding questionnaires that include questions around the prevention of forced labor, human trafficking, and modern slavery, and we maintain clear reporting and escalation channels should concerns arise.
