ARTLIFTING PARTNERSHIP

Greystar Giving is a decentralized philanthropic initiative aimed at supporting the communities in which we conduct business. By empowering our local leadership teams to identify and support organizations most relevant to their team members, we create targeted and meaningful community engagement.

US Greystar supports environmental conservation through regular volunteer events with the Lowcountry Land Trust, where team members construct oyster reefs that enhance coastal resilience, improve water quality, and create essential marine habitats throughout our local ecosystems. Further aligning with Greystar’s housing mission, we have long-standing community partnerships which include: Greystar supports the PTSD Foundation of America/Camp Hope to provide interim housing & PTSD treatment to our nation's veterans. This year, we hosted two golf charity events raising $575k for the organization. Through our partnership with Operation Home, a Charleston-area based organization, our team members help build wheelchair ramps for community members with mobility challenges, directly improving accessibility while building connections with the communities we serve. Through a long-standing partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, our teams across the United States mobilized to raise over $500,000 in 2024 through a coordinated series of fundraising events and personal donation campaigns.

The Greystar Stars in Need program provides financial assistance and support to Greystar team members and their families experiencing significant difficulties due to unexpected hardships, including events such as natural disasters or medical emergencies. In 2024, team members contributed $198,000 to a collective pool to support colleagues in need. Using these contributions, along with funds from previous years, the program issued over $390,000 in grants to approximately 311 recipients— the highest contribution in the program’s history. Emergency response efforts stood out this year, with $158,000 in grants supporting those affected by Hurricanes Beryl, Helene, and Milton. These funds offered critical assistance for evacuation, displacement, and other hardships associated with these life-altering events. The program also expanded internationally in 2024 and now supports team members across 17 countries in all Greystar regions.

Since December 2022, we have partnered with ArtLifting, a social enterprise supporting artists with disabilities by providing them with an art marketplace that supports increased financial resilience. Residents can find paintings and sculptures from ArtLifting artists in many Greystar lobbies, with a description of the art and the artist’s story accompanying each piece. Most recently, at select locations, we incorporated textiles and tiles designed by artists in the program in pillows, upholstery, and bathroom tiling. In displaying this art, we aim to support an artistic and financial opportunity for ArtLifting artists, while providing residents with beautiful artwork to enjoy. 63.6k TEAM MEMBER VOLUNTEER HOURS & $ 1.5M DONATED TO ORGANIZATIONS GLOBALLY $ 390k+ IN GRANTS TO 311 PARTICIPANTS OF THE STARS IN NEED PROGRAM 22 SCHOLARSHIPS & $ 87K AWARDED TO DEPENDENTS OF TEAM MEMBERS

GREYSTAR SCHOLARS

The Greystar Scholars Program, which has been in place since 2012 and is funded through both Greystar and team member donations, continues to support the ongoing education of team members' dependents by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors and students attending accredited nonprofit trade schools, universities, or colleges. In 2024, the program awarded 22 scholarships totaling $87,000 to dependents of Greystar team members for the 2024/2025 school year. We share the impact of team member contributions to this program through our annual Greystar Scholars yearbook.

UK In the UK, we continue to proudly partner with KIDS, a charity dedicated to empowering children with disabilities and their families. In 2024, our UK team hosted 500 property industry professionals for our annual gala, raising €150,000 through ticket sales, an auction, and a raffle to support KIDS’ essential services. An additional €19,000 was raised at a community sports day, further strengthening our impact.
